Join us for a special Acoustic Evening at Hay Burr Inn on Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 7 PM to 10 PM! Enjoy live music from talented local duos Steven & Rachel and Sean & Mindy, featuring Mindy, a singer from last year's band, Heartland. Treat yourself to delicious home cooking by Ray's Catering while supporting a great cause. This rain or shine fundraiser directly benefits the care of our rescued equines.

Tickets are $15 online until noon on September 20th, and $20 at the door. This is a family-friendly, smoke-free event; please no alcohol or outside pets. Join us for a unique guided tour through the enchanting woods at our sanctuary in Plainfield! Our adorable mini horse, Kiya, will lead the way as you listen to heartwarming stories from the horses and donkeys themselves! Returning local author, Andrea K. Smith, will also be sharing her special tale about her and her horse. Arrive promptly at 10:00 AM to fully immerse yourself in this magical storytelling experience on the trail. Meet our rescued equines who inspire these tales and enjoy a truly unforgettable morning for all ages.
